Being born in London and having spent my summers there as a child, I have a strong love and connection for my motherland. I adore British style and am always on the hunt for brands that really capture that classic and timeless English vibe.
My sister was actually the first to introduce me to Celtic + Co. a few years back when she was looking for an ethical alternative to the popular sheepskin boots in all the stores. At Celtic + Co. their sheepskin boots and slippers are all a by-product of the UK and European food industry and to this day, their signature shearling boots and slippers are still handcrafted locally in Cornwall (where my Grandad lives and I would visit as a child) to reduce their carbon footprint. They pride themselves on working hard to minimize their impact on the environment by choosing natural, sustainable and organic fibers over toxic, synthetic and non-biodegradable materials. Everything they make are made carefully to last. If your boots wear down, they even can repair and resole them to extend their lives and avoid excess waste.
Their slippers are so luxurious and perfect for cold nights. I also adore their sweaters and jackets. By avoiding trends and staying true to classic British style, these are investments pieces that will last years to come. In the shots below I am wearing their Wax Rain Jacket and Cashmere Button Gloves. Their blue-and-white striped Stitch Stripe Hem Sweater and their grey-and-white striped Felted Funnel Neck Sweater. Also featured are their luxurious Ladies’ Turnback Mules (I have the Oatmeal color but they have SO many other options).
