After an excruciatingly hot and, to be honest, quite miserable August here in SoCal we’ve FINALLY made it to September and, with it, a couple of really exciting late-summer thunderstorms. Like every year, I broke out my sweaters and chestnut candle at the first sign of the moody, fall weather looming on the horizon. And it was very convenient that I had just received my favorite fall candle and two new gorgeous, super-soft knit sweaters from Wooden Ships in the mail days before.
They’ve just recently released their dreamy fall knit collection featuring the Rolled Cuff Cowl Cotton Mercer in Pure Snow, which I LOVE and can wait to play around with styling it more and this Giselle Top in Gunmetal which is my new favorite sweater as it’s such a feminine, classic cut that I can wear during the day or dress it up with pumps and jeans for a date night with Wiley. The collection is made with the coziest knits (I love that they aren’t too heavy – perfect on their own to ease into fall or for layering in winter) and they offer free shipping which to me is a huge plus!
I’ve talked about this company Wooden Ships before and I just wanted to share it with you guys again as I am so honored to collaborate with such an awesome company. When trying to be more eco-friendly I can recycle more, brings my reusable bags, give my kitchen scraps to the chickens, and forgo the plastic water bottles for my Swell canteen. But, I can also take it a step further by supporting eco-friendly and ethically produced clothing companies like Wooden Ships. I LOVE that they are family owned and run and that they give back in such a huge way. They support causes that are near and dear to my heart like Sea Shepherd International, WildAid, Organic Consumers Association, and the Environmental Defense Fund. Their factory in Bali is now 85% solar powered and they are still working away to get that to 100% (which I think is something every factory should implement). Click here to read about all the many other ways they are setting an example that hopefully more retailers will one day follow.
Aside from the two sweaters featured I also fell in love with this gorgeous Cuffed Blazer (can’t stand when blazers are super stiff and constricting so this one is perfect), this Zola Cuffed Pocket Coat (because I can’t have enough cozy cardigans for fall – especially with pockets!), and this Emerson Crewneck.
I am obsessed with all things cozy and these sweaters look so comfy!!
Loving with all things cozy and these sweaters look so comfy!!
I love this brand! The have the cutest and most versatile knits! I especially love the ones with prints, but those you’re wearing are pretty great too!
